ABOUT OUR DOCTOR

Your wellness is our priority

Michele Ahmadi, D.P.M, is a board certified physician with extensive training in primary podiatric care, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. After graduating from NYCPM, she completed her surgically intensive residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

She is on staff at the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Healing at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital.

She is owner of Foot and Ankle Care of Long Island, based in Smithtown New York, as well as working out of Deer Park Podiatry in North Babylon New York. She is on staff at both Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center as well as St. Catherine’s of Siena Medical Center, and is chair of the Podiatric Education Committee at Good Samaritan. She employs the latest techniques in wound healing, laser therapy, and always uses a multi-modal approach to all foot related conditions.

Dr. Alison Croughan moved to Long Island more than 9 years ago to care for patients on the North Shore and throughout Suffolk County. Dr. Croughan is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and resides in Northport with her husband and five children. Dr. Croughan is excited to join Dr. Michele Ahmadi and care for patients in the greater Smithtown area. When not at work, she can be found on the sidelines at one of her children’s sports games, on the beach or exploring the shops in downtown Northport.

I strive to always be a kind, caring and competent physician who will diagnose and formulate both conservative and surgical treatment options for common foot and ankle disorders as well as congenital conditions, diabetic foot infections, and foot and ankle trauma. I am focused on developing and maintaining a strong and positive patient relationship and commit to always ensuring my patients understand all their treatment options to aid in their health care decision making. I believe in providing comprehensive care so that my patients can walk confidently knowing that great foot care is indicative of their overall health.
